Mid infrared laser coupling

Thanks to their low loss and transmission from visible up to 5.5 µm, our fibers are widely used to couple mid-infrared lasers.

• Laser sources operating around 2.8-3.0 µm can be coupled with our GeO2 multimode fibers. 
• Divergent sources such as Interband Cascade Lasers ICL or Quantum Cascade Lasers QCL into single mode fibers.

• Microlenses can be implemented on demand on order to increase coupling efficiency or for beam shaping purposes.
