Le Verre Fluoré is excited to announce the extension of its product portfolio with germanate fibers for high power mid-infrared laser beam transmission !
The LVF team is currently developing high quality germanate multimode fibers for mid-infrared power handling and pigtailing. With this new product, LVF aims to address Er:YAG and Ho:YAG laser pigtailing applications. These types of lasers are extensively used in medical operations (dentistry, dermatology, ophtalmology, surgery), representing an important market for the company.
The product will be released in early summer 2021.
